Whipped up these paperclip bookmarks using vintage buttons, ribbon and some giant paperclips.
Found some awesome stamps at a thrift store. A set of 16 rubber stamps for just $1! Quite a bargain, no?
Been invited to a craft fair! Too bad I hadn't known about it before so I could join. But it was splendid! Look at the marvelous cakes below:
And I got some oh-so-delicious cake pops, too!
Here comes the crafty part!
It was the last day at school and I made this little card for my English teacher. (Yes, I'm in high school. Yes, I still make stuff for my favorite teachers. No, I don't find it embarrassing.)
I got him some m&m's and tied them with pretty ribbon and attached this lovely tag. He loved everything about it!
Went shoe shopping! I got these beauties:
I plan on turning this white pair into graffiti shoes like the ones at Lil Blue Boo
Time for some photography!
And this is how my week was like. :)
Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, don't forget to smile.
Hugs,
Hi Roudi,
ReplyDeleteI love your horse photo!!! I think you should join the Project Pinterest that is hosted by Sandee over at http://inthehillsofnorthcarolina.blogspot.com/
It's going to be once a month (on the 10th). Maybe your white tennis shoes? Check out pinterest for some inspiration (I've seen some modified tennis shoes on there). I know she'd love to get more people involved.
You are so sweet to give your teacher a special treat at the end of the school year. You are VERY thoughtful!
Hugs,
Kay
Thank you for mentioning the Project Pinterest Kay! I think I'll join July's linky party though. My finals are at the end of this month! Eeep! lol
DeleteI'm so glad you like the horse photo. It was at a horse club near our place.
And yes, I love seeing the smile on people's face when they receive something made especially for them. It just makes it worth all the crafting. ♥
Thanks for stopping by. :)
LOVE, love, LOVE your blog, am now following you. I love that you craft and enjoy photography, love your macro shots, excellent. Me thinks you have a good camera! Looking forward to seeing what you do with those tennis shoes too! BTW, Project Pinterest is going to be once a month, as summer is so busy for everyone, so if you don't get to link up this week, then you will have until June 10th to come up with something! So glad to have someone creative like yourself join us! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
ReplyDeleteHello Sandee,
DeleteThank you for following!
I do have a good camera. Fujifilm S2950.
As I said to Kay, I think I'll be joining next month's party because I'm so busy revising right now. (pray for me!)
I'll be sure to tell you how my tennis shoes turn out. :)
Kisses from Egypt.
