Tutorial: Fabric bangles from shower curtain rings

So the other day mum decided to change the shower curtains, and my DIY sensor could tell something was on the way! (cheesy,I know! XD )
I took a couple of curtain rings and made them into colorful fabric bangles. It's a great project to use up all your precious little scraps.
Here's what you'll need to make your own:
White glue. (Or definitely Modge Pod)
Fabric scraps cut into long stripes.
Scissors.
Plastic curtain rings.

Start off by applying glue all over the ring.
Carefully, yet tightly, wrap your fabric around the ring making sure to squeeze out any air bubbles.
Can you believe that's it? :D Now you have your very own fabric bangle. :] (double score if you have a dress or a skirt made of the same fabric. ♥ )
These bangles would fit perfectly for toddlers and even grownups with skinny wrists (like mine xD )
Well, you can buy bigger rings of course, but I just used what I had. ;)
Yeah me n my "mirror" pics! :)) Hey there's nothing wrong with not having anyone to photograph you right? XD

Now go make yourself one (or twenty) :D

  2. Hi Roudi,

What a cute idea! I just wanted to let you know that I featured your tutorial on my site, www.AllFreeBeadedJewelry.com. I linked to this project:

I would like to know if I can link like this to you, including a photo, in the future. Or if you would be willing to allow me to post projects in full on the site - full credit will always be given to you, of course. Your projects have the opportunity to be featured in our newsletter as well. It would be yet another source of traffic to your blog.

Please let me know, I would love to work with you further.
    Thanks!
