WOYWW #199

Hi there WOYWWers all over the world!
The weather here in Egypt has been wonderful all week long! Plenty of sunshine and just a hint of breezy wind. Perfect for some quality time outside!

What's going on at my desk this Wednesday?

Well, I got a huge box of goodies from my new penpal Jamie. She was so generous and sent me all sorts of pretty scrapbooking stuff to play with. I figured I wouldn't be able to show you guys everything in the package, but she included a plain Accordion Album for me to fill with bits and pieces of my life and that's exactly what you'll be seeing in the next couple of posts! Isn't it pretty? Jamie's the best!
Up on my desk you can see my new Funky Fish mug, a half-eaten bar of chocolate and some other random stuff. And down there you can see some of the stuff I've received along with a pretty card and a magnet in the shape of Tennesee! (She even marked where she lives for me!)

Onto my makes this week:
Two pretty cards for my mom and grandma this mothers day.

I use pencils for coloring my stamps as Copics are nowhere to be found here in Egypt. (but again, that's just the usual! lol)

Thank you for visiting me this week, please leave me a comment so I can return the favor! And don't forget to hop on over to Julia's Stamping ground and checkout what everyone else is up to.

Toodle pip!

  1. Decidedly two pretty cards. Love them both.
Great parcel from your pen friend, think I like the chocolate the best though as I am trying to not eat any until Sunday and it is agonising. Hard going around the supermarket as I am filled with such longing when I see anything remotely like chocolate.
Thanks for visiting me - Happy Easter and Happy WOYWW - Hugs, Neet xx 1

  2. The cards look great - your mum and grandma will love them I'm sure. You are very good with the crayons, the shading is perfect. I absolutely adore Dairy Milk! Did Jamie send you that or are they sold in Egypt? Happy Easter and thanks for sharing! Lucy #37 x

  4. Lovely cards you've made, and probably all the more special since you didn't use the usual markers everyone else uses you used the pencils.

  5. So sad you can't get the supplies that you need to play with, what a horrible thing to have to experience but there is always the postal system I suppose. Lucky you for getting some more supplies. I do love your cards, awesome creations.

    Happy WOYWW and Easter

  14. Thanks for the visit yesterday. Despite my best intentions I'm late (again) getting round. Love your Tilda cards and with pencil technique like this you do not need copics - just perfect.
